Trophy Point T-shirt

I was given the task to design a t-shirt that would commemorate the iconic Trophy Point at West Point military academy. This particular place at West Point is known for the beautiful sunsets and sometimes referred to as a place of endless summers, which highly influenced the decision for the design's color palette.

AOG 150th Anniversary mug

For this project, I was given a series of logos, emblems, names, photos of iconic figures and phrases all pertaining to the West Point Association of Graduates. The task was to create a design with said assets that would be printed on 8 oz. coffee mugs. The challenge was figuring out the correct placement of the assets in order to create fluidity within a compacted space. I took advantage of the yellow elements to create a more dynamic design that would help guide the eye, as well as the larger scaled elements to give the eye a rest from the heavy text.

Social Distance Signage

During the COVID 19 pandemic, a lot of us had no choice but to work from home. At times work was scarce, as the world had partially come to a stand still. This sign I designed for the West Point Association of Graduates Gift Shop will always remind me of a small contribution I was able to make during those tough times.
Cobleskill Canine sticker

This sticker design was also made for Blue 84. In this case, client knew exactly what style of design they wanted. The challenge for me was to come up with the words that could represent qualities of men's best friend and figure out the placement, creating within the shape of a dog, a dynamic word art design.

Cobleskill Canine ( I Love dogs ) Hoodie

This freelance project was done for Blue 84, a wholesale supplier for custom-designed apparel. They asked for a hoodie design for the Cobleskill Canine program that would be sold at the college bookstore. The wholesale supplier representative mentioned they were looking for a design that would integrate text with graphics. After doing extensive Pinterest research, I came up with a design that I thought could channel the cuteness of a dalmatian while getting the message across. They loved it!

Journal designs for Calm Down Caren (online store 2022)

I was given a series of phrases that would eventually be laser printed on to journal  covers. My job was to come up with designs that standout and stay true to the sarcastic and sassy nature of the phrases. This project gave me a chance to really dig into typography based design, composition and contrast between text and graphics. Additionally, I got the opportunity to play around with laser cutting machines to produce some of these journals. It was a long but gratifying project!
Dog Kitchen Towels (2022)

This was a project done for Calm Down Caren. The prompt was to look up the most popular dog breeds. After some research, and settling on a list of 10 popular breeds, I headed to shutterstock to find illustrated versions of the the different dog breeds.
In most cases I had to vectorize and or manipulate the already existing images of dogs, which were not mine by any means. This grid shows the different mock ups. The towels were eventually sold through several online shops.
